Students in authorized School of Media and Communication courses may reserve audio, video and film equipment for class projects through Cheqroom.
Before You Reserve
Students must be enrolled in an authorized course, have a valid University ID and complete the required EQR Policies and Procedures workshop and Equipment Checkout Agreement.
Reserve equipment
Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is generally limited to 24-hour checkout periods. Reservations must be picked up within 30 minutes of the scheduled time.

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: Closed
The Equipment Checkout Room is closed during University breaks.
Returns, fees and appeals
Check equipment before leaving and report any missing or damaged items. Return all equipment at your scheduled time and in the condition you received it.
Late equipment may result in fees, account holds and loss of equipment or lab privileges. Students may appeal eligible fines within 15 days of receiving an official fine notification.
Student organizations
School of Media and Communication student organizations may request equipment for organization activities. Some equipment requires faculty recommendation or specialized training.

Weekday equipment reservations are limited to 24 hours. Additional equipment requests require a new reservation and faculty approval.
