Bio
Jason McCormick is an assistant professor in English with an emphasis in composition and rhetoric. Their research primarily centers on teaching interventions that increase access, with a primary focus on developmental writing spaces and the Writing Center. Recently, they have worked to refresh the Writing Center to be more accessible and support various tutoring options.

Since joining USM, Jason has exclusively taught face-to-face and online sections of English 100E.
At previous institutions, they have taught developmental English courses, first-year composition, research writing, introduction to literature, creative writing workshop, fiction workshop, children's literature, and a literature course focused on short fiction.
